3Q Joins CDN Alliance

3Q and CDN Alliance do Partner up!

Last year, we founded the CDN Alliance as an independent non-profit organization with no members to ensure its 100% independence. Together with industry members, we have now built the foundation for an organization. This gives us the confidence and resources to start our mission. We are excited about what lies ahead of us and are extremely grateful for the trust and support from all of our founding members.

Die CDN Alliance has set itself the goal of connecting the global CDN industry and the CDN community. CDN stands for “content delivery network,” i.e. a network of servers and locations to ensure stable connections at all times. Since September last year, further founding members have been sought who would like to support this mission. After the initial talks, 3Q has decided to support the mission of the CDN Alliance with immediate effect and therefore also from the outset.

As a founding & supporting member of CDN Alliance We are pleased that the project to create an independent organization is gaining momentum. The goal: Create a community that not only provides a platform for discussing & shaping the global content delivery network industry, but also introduces uniform industry standards & regulations.

What has happened so far and what's next?

In recent months, the CDN Alliance significantly expanded their organization and introduced measures to ensure that the planned projects can be launched and supported in the long term. For this purpose, industry members were acquired, teams formed and an advisory board was set up. In addition, the CDN Alliance Initiate working groups and expand networking within the industry.

Further activities, which will be launched in the coming months, are aimed at members of CDN Alliance as well as to the global CDN industry and CDN community.
